This Saturday, January 10th, I'll be leaving for my mission trip to Santa Justina, Philippines. I'll be going to Holistic Christian Ministry (HCM), a church my parents started in their home 8 years ago. My purpose for the trip:
- For the children.... HCM is about 80% children.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14 - For the poor and needy.... 99% of the HCM members are poor.
"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' Matthew 25:40 - For Him... as Christians are called to do. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

that is so awesome! I went to the Philippines Summer 2000 and helped start a church in Cebu City and help out an orphanage. We pray for your safety and that God will use you to do amazing things.
